How likely are we to face our fears??  Mostly no! right? If you are lucky then you might develop acumen to face your fears.

May be we can glance at our fears for a minute or two but how far are we ready to let ourselves face it?? Our fears actually disappear if we truly face them but we doubt we might be blinded.

Our fear could be as simple as giving a public speech, attending a high level executive meeting or taking a simple interview despite our preparation! Of course, we might think we want to take our fears dead on, but it’s most likely we might get distracted with the shadow of what’s actually holding us back!

Firstly we need to be clear about what is the fear about? Identifying the problem is the preliminary step to resolve a situation. When you know that you fear what people might think about you? In case you falter or say something wrong then you need to use simple techniques to distract your mind from thinking too much about the people around and focus on how creative you can make your speech with supporting materials.Supporting materials during oral presentations like videos, stories, examples etc… help to clarify the point, to emphasize the point, to make the point more interesting, and to furnish a basis that enables others to believe the speaker’s point!

Because once we’re truly clear about the fear, we come up with plan/strategy to handle and it eventually fades. It might even disappear.Give it a Try!
